Cuttack, Nov 30: On the day of his retirement, Paramananda Mishra, the Sadar Block Education Officer (BEO) Cuttack has been caught red handed by the Vigilance sleuths while accepting bribe.
As per sources, for updating the service book, Mishra demanded a sum of Rs 5,000 from a teacher. Later, Mishra’s residence located at Rajendra Nagar here was raided by the Cuttack Vigilance Division’s officers, who caught Mishra with the bribed amount.
Mishra is been taken into custody by the vigilance officials for interrogation.
