Bhubaneswar: June 04: Air India flight from Bengaluru made an emergency landing at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar today due to a technical problem.

It took off from Bengaluru and about to go to Kolkata. According to reports, the AI flight 772 took-off from the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru at 6.05 am this morning with 151 passengers on board.  Nearly, one hour after it started from Bengaluru, Airbus encountered technical snag and the Pilot contacted the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) of Biju Patnaik International Airport for clearance to make an emergency landing.

Finally, getting approval from ATC, the flight landed here safely. The flight resumed its journey for Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata at around 3.15 pm, airport sources said.
