The All-India Senior Selection Committee has picked the squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against New Zealand.
The Indian cricket team will be without Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammed Shami in the upcoming two-match Test series against New Zealand, beginning November 25.
Virat Kohli will join the squad for the second Test starting on December 3 and will lead the team.
In Kohli’s absence, Ajinkya Rahane will lead India in the first Test, set to be played from November 25-29 in Kanpur, with Cheteshwar Pujara being named his deputy.
Bumrah, Shami, and Kohli have already been rested for the three-match white-ball series.
