Sundargarh, May 6: On charges of betting and gambling at the IPL matches, the police officials have arrested a bookie from Rajganpur here. The name of the alleged bookie is Ashok Agarawal. The police have seized cash of about Rs 41,000, seven mobile phones and documents related to gambling by raiding Agarwal’s house. Ashok had been involved in this betting business not only in Sundergarh but in Rourkela, Rajganpur and Jharsuguda. Investigation is going on.
