Nabarangpur, Apr 10: Yesterday a pregnant lady here died as the ambulance reportedly reached late. The name of the deceased lady is Tulabati Gouda of Bharataguda village under Dabugaon block. It so happened that Tulabati was taken to the Dabugaon Primary Health Centre immediately when she complained of labour pain. After a check-up, the doctors at the hospital later referred her to the Nabarangpur District Headquarters Hospital (DHH). On getting her condition worsens, the family members of the woman called 108 Ambulance to take her to the Nabarangpur DHH but on not reaching in time, Tulabati succumbed to her pain at the primary health centre.
