Salipur, May 31: Despite protests, today Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda did inaugurate the overhead water tank project along with his hundred supporters at the Jatiparilo village under Rahania Panchayat near Mahanga in Cuttack.
This project is among the 52 ongoing drinking water projects in Kendrapara that will address the water scarcity problem here. Each overhead tank will be supplying 1 lakh litres of water. Inaugurating the project, Panda said that this is the 10th project that has become operational.The leader faced stones pelted at him when coming back from the project area. Immediately he responded through a tweet, “Leave alone stones, no one can scare me even with bullets”.
