Bhubaneswar, Jan 16: Amit Shah, the national president of BJP, has scheduled his calendar, to visit Odisha on 20th January to attend a religious function in Puri.
A new idol of Goddess Bimala on the premises of Govardhan Peeth is likely to be installed in ceremony, which Shah will attend, said sources. Shah is also likely to meet Shankaracharya on the day, sources added.
Among other dignitaries who are likely to grace the ceremony is former Nepal King Gyanendra Shah, who would participate in the 3-day event that is goin to be held from 18-20. Besides former PM HD Deve Gowda will also be present to grace the occasion on the 19th, said sources.
