Bhubaneswar: June 20: State Crime Branch’s Economic Offences Wing arrested Pravat Patnaik, another director of OSCAR chit Fund Company on Monday from Khallikote area in Ganjam district.
Three other directors of the company Kirti Bastia, Abani Patnaik and Tara Prasad Hota were arrested earlier. On the other side, OSCAR chief’s remand will be over today. EOW has taken him for 10 days remand in two phases. Sources said, EOW has got some clues on Prabhas’s link with Ollywood artists and crime branch is likely to interrogate Odiya artistes soon.
Notably, OSCAR’s director Prabhas Rout has cheated the people of three states Odisha, Gujarat and Maharashtra and the amount cheated will be around 230 crores.
