Puri, July 11; The police has forwarded a devotee on Monday to the court, on the basis of climbing of Lord Balabhadra’s Taladhwaja chariot on Sunday.
According to the sources, Dipesh shah, a business man form Ahmadabad had climbed Taladhwaja chariot in the wee hours on July 8. While approaching towards Nandighosa Chariot for the darshan he had been caught by the police. After examining the incident on CCTV footage, police arrested him on Sunday.
A case has been registered under section 188 of the IPC and section 30 of Shri Jagannath Temple Act against Dipesh.
Similarly, a women devotee was found climbing Nandighosa chariot before pahandi to Adapa Mandapa.
