Anandpur, Aug 23: Yesterday early completion of Kusei Bridge on the National Highway-215 near Belabahali village was urged by the Keonjhar district lawyers and senior citizens to the Keonjhar District Administration.

These officials were irritated with the extreme delay in the construction of the same. They also expressed their annoyance through media, saying that if the construction work is not expedited then and there, then around 20,000 people of Anandpur will stage demonstrations on streets from Tuesday.

It’s stated that around 25 delegates belonging to the Anandpur Bar Association including the president and secretary, working secretary of Anandpur Private Bus Association, retired principals and principals of private colleges, senior citizens and sarpanchs of 22 panchayats together submitted a memorandum to the district collector urging for the same request.

The members decided to do so because the college students were unable to go to college as the Belabahali villagers closed down all transportation by displaying red flags on the roadways and for a surprise the police has not done anything to stop this obstruction.
