Bhubaneswar: June 08: An abduction attempt was foiled and guns were seized from two luxurious cars near Vani Vihar area in Bbubaneswar.
As sources said, after getting information about a series of accidents between Vanivihar and Rasulgarh on NH-5 late at night, Police rushed to the spot and seized two vehicles. There were nobody in the Cars but Police found two guns inside the Car.
In the mean time, a businessman from Nayapalli area lodged a complaint saying four persons had kidnapped him at Gun point at Night.
The businessman said, four persons intercepted his vehicle and three of them took him in their vehicle and the fourth one drove his vehicle. The fourth person who was driving the businessman’s car hit the other car, in which he was there.
‘After the accident, the four criminals fled from the scene.” the businessman said in his complaint.
Police tried to nab four criminals who had tried to kidnap the businessman from Nayapalli area of Bhubaneswar late last night.
