Bhubaneswar: Feb 18: Odisha Government has decided to set up ‘Autism Medical Board’ in each district of Odisha. Accordingly, government has issued directive to all the collectors.The National Trust for the Welfare of Persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has suggested the Odisha government to expedite the autism drive in the State. The ‘Autism Medical Board’ will estimate the number of autism patients and provide them necessary certificates. The District Autism board will have professional doctors, Psychiatrists, Paediatrics, MBBS doctors, Clinical Psychologists as members.
