Keonjhar, Sep 7: Yesterday, a group of unknown looters robbed off the Bank of India at the Turumunga branch in Odisha here.
The incident came to fore today morning as the bank lock was found broken by staff. It’s stated that the miscreants broke the lock and enetered the bank yesterday as it was closed because of the Nuakhai festival.
According to initial investigations, the looters could not break the strongroom of the bank. However, they decamped with guns of security personnel and computer modem.
On getting information, the Turumunga police immediately arrived at the bank along with a forensic team and began investigating.
