Mohana: Today, on the occasion of Maha Bishuba Sankranti, festive mood gripped many Shaivite temples. Meanwhile today morning, more than 20 people got injured in bee attack in the Gajapati district of Odisha.
As per reports, some devotees went to the Shiva temple at Chandragiri under Mohana police station limits today to have darshan of Lord Shiva in the temple on the occasion of the Odia New Year and Pana Sankranti.
At that time, a swarm of tiger bees came from a tree near the temple and attacked the devotees. More than 20 devotees have been injured in the bee attack.
At least 20 devotees were injured in this attack, while four of them were critically injured and were admitted to the hospital after being rescued by the locals. The medical authorities have informed that the health condition of all of them is stable.
