Bhubaneswar, Apr 18: Leading to the large sale violence and the wreckage that occurred a week back at Bhadrak, regarding the obscene post on hindu gods, published in a social network site, the Bhadrak Collectorate has finally prepared a report regarding the same.
Earlier, after the violence, CM Naveen Patnaik during his visit to Bhadrak had ordered the complete assessment of losses during the violence. The state govt. would compensate the victims who have been affected due to the wreckage during the violence, said Naveen during his visit.
As of sources, seven teams of the Collectorate headed by the district Collector himself have assessed the complete wreckage and a report regarding the same has also been prepared. The report was today submitted to the District Administration, which will be forwarded tomorrow to the state govt.
Notably, nearly, 25 out of 30 wards from the Bhadrak Municipality has been affected. About 180 temporary & Permanent shops have been damaged, while about 120 houses have been completely destroyed during the event, said source.
