After Bhadrak, unrest begins in Kendrapara; internet usage shut down for 48 hours

Kendrapara, Apr 20: A situation of crisis took place in Kendrapara when some distasteful post became viral crushing the feelings of a specific group on Wednesday. Today the Central Range IG Soumendra Priyadarshi arrived at the location and tried to scrutinize the situation.

After the noxious condition of Bhadrak, the internet connection in Kendrapara district was secured but still the distasteful post proved to be a direct hit upon the security of the internet connection. After this incident, the IG had called for a peace meeting with the heads of the different communities.
One of the resident of Kendrapara, Syed Tunna said whoever is the main culprit behind this post should also be framed for the Bhadrak incident and should be put behind the bars.
Now as per an instruction by the Chief Minister’s Office, the internet services in the district is shut down for 48 hours. Sufficient police force is provided to this area so as to maintain the law and order to keep the situation under control, said the Kendrapara collector Muralidhar Mallick.
