March 16: AAP Leader Bhagwant Mann will be taking oath as the Punjab Chief Minister today and AAP Convenor Arvind Kejriwal will be present during the ceremony.
Before taking oath to the office, AAP Leader Bhagwant Mann said in a tweet in Hindi and Punjabi, “The golden ray of sun has brought a new dawn today. To realize the dreams of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Baba Saheb, the whole of Punjab will take oath today at Khatkar Kalan.”
Mann will be the 18th CM Chief Minister of Punjab.
All arrangements have been made for the swearing-in ceremony of Mann at Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral village of legendary freedom fighter Bhagat Singh in Punjab’s Shaheed Bhagat Singh (SBS) Nagar district.
The Aam Aadmi Party romped won in 92 seats in the 117-member Punjab Assembly, decimating the Congress and the SAD-BSP combine.
