Bhubaneswar: In a tragic road accident, one cyclist died after a truck hit him at Palasuni square in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained in the Palasuni accident.
According to the onlookers, a man was going on his cycle when a truck hit him. The cyclist fell down. Another truck plying on the road ran over the man, killing him. The Palasuni fly over has become an accident-prone zone because of heavy traffic in the area.
Police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter. The accident was so horrific that identifying the man has also become difficult.
Police sent the body for post-mortem. The locals present in the area have expressed concern over the series of accident in the area.
