Bhubaneswar, Aug 30: BJD leaders have hold Pradhan accused for showing humiliation to the teachers of the state, by passing a comparison remark saying that the “teachers-on-call” policy is like that of “Ola or Uber cab service”.

One of the BJD angry leader was Pradeep Maharathy. Annoyed Cooperation Minister, Damodar Rout also accused Pradhan and so did BJD MP Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo. On the contrary, the State unit of BJP justifying the comments of Pradhan said that the government is just playing with the people’s sentiments and again making an unimportant issue an important one just for political gimmick.

The party had raised questions on the State government’s decision on the “teachers-on-call” policy instead of filling up the 43,810 existing vacancies of teachers.
