Bhubaneswar, Apr 18: On being severely targeted by BJP during the two-day National Executive Meet on a host of issues, It is now the turn of the ruling BJD to give it back in the same way as the former.
Yesterday during the death anniversary of late Biju Patnaik, BJD party supremo and Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik targeting the saffron party said that the development graph of the state is going in the right direction. Patnaik did not scathed any direct attack to any of the top BJP party leaders, but very intelligently he stated that till the leadership of Biju Babu, Odisha Government was having a tremendous growth having an ‘inclusive agenda’. The state of temples is example of growth higher than the National average to other states. Development is witnessed under infrastructure, education, health etc. Other party leaders such as BJD MP AU Singh Deo also held the Centre responsible for ignoring Odisha in a host of issues such as Polavaram, Mahanadi or be it the issue of conferring the ‘Bharat Ratna’ to late Biju Babu.
Patnaik said all these, after the BJP had blamed the BJD government for its alleged failure in several spheres concerned with the development of Odisha.
