Bhubaneswar: March 31:Former Minister and Biju Janata Dal Leader Raghunath Mohanty resigned from the Party. Yesterday, he has resigned from the Post of Chairman, Odisha Lift Irrigation Corporation. Raghunath Mohanty was elected to Odisha Legislative Assembly five times from Basta Constitueny.
But, he has not yet joined in any Political Party. In his reaction to Media, he said, he has not taken any decision regarding his future course of action.
As mentioned in his resignation letter, ‘I am tendering my resignation from Primary Membership as well as Vice-President of Biju Janata Dal for personal reason’.
He was an aspirant for Biju Janata Dal Ticket from Basta.
