BJD to raise drought issue in Parliament’s winter session

The ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in eastern Indian Odisha will raise several issues including drought situation in Odisha and intolerance during the winter session of the Parliament.

State’s Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik who is also the President of the Party, held a meeting of the Members of Parliament of both the Houses – Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha – on Saturday ahead of the winter session of the Parliament scheduled to begin on November 26.

He directed them to raise questions on issues in the interest of the State.
