BJP Announces The Name Of It’s Mayor Candidate For BMC
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced the name of Dr.Suniti Mund as Mayor candidate for Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) ahead of the Urban Local Bodies (ULB) polls in the State. She is a well known writer and social worker.
Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi announced the name of Dr.Suniti Mund as BJP’s Mayor candidate in a Press Conference.
Voting for 106 Urban Local Bodies and three municipal corporations will be held on March 24, as per the notification issued by SEC.

Nominations shall be filed from March 2 to March 7. Scrutiny of Nomination Papers shall be done on March 9. Nominations can be withdrawn by 14th March. Voting shall be done on March 24 and counting on March 26.
The election to the posts of Vice Chairperson and Deputy Mayor will be held on April 7 and 8, 2022 respectively.
