BJP Jan Jagaran Jatra from April 7

Bhubaneswar, April 3: BJP State unit president Basant Panda will launch his Jan Jagaran Jatra from April seven across the State to highlight the achievements of the NDA government at the Centre and failures of State’s BJD government.

The first phase of the programme will conclude on April 24 after covering 15 Organisation Districts, a BJP spokesman said here today.

The programme will start from Nabarangpur on April seven, he said.

Rajkishre Das will will coordinate the programme in Nabarangpur, while Ashwini Sarangi  will oversee the programme in Kalahandi district, Golak Mohapatra in Bolangir district, Sabita Nanda in Boudh, Sameer Mohanty in Nayagarh, Anant Nayak  in Khordha district,  Krushna Patra in  Jajpur district, Jatin Mohanty in Malkangiri, Bhrigu Buxipatra in Rayagada district, Dhiren Senapati in in Sundergarh district, Gangadhar Tripathy in Panposh, Rabinarayan  in Banei district and former MLA Bishnu Sethi in Keonjhar District, spokesman Sajjan Sharma said here.

Meanwhile in another statement Sharma alleged that the State government  has committed large irregularities in selecting beneficiaries for National Rural Employment Generation Programme in the State.

He demanded that the State government must clarify the selection progress.

He said there are over 25 lakh construction workers in the State and the government should not play with their future for petty political gains.
