Bhubaneswar: April 03: Odisha BJP delegation staged dharna outside Naveen Niwas demanding acceptance of resignation from government service of BJP’s Saraskana MLA candidate.
BJP’s Vice-President Samir Mohanty, General Secretary Lekhashree Samantsinghar and Saraskana MLA candidate Dr.Budhan Murmu were at Dharna Place.
As sources said, BJP’s Saraskana MLA candidate was a Doctor at Rangamatia Primary Health Centre in Mayurbhanj district and had tendered his resignation from the state government service on October 4,2018.
BJP leader Samir Mohanty said, ‘Dr.Budhan Murmu is a popular Doctor serving in Saraskana Assembly constituency. He served as a government servant for 27 years’. He further added, ‘His all the documents are okay. But, the state government has not yet accepted his resignation and given clearance letter’.
Notably, the filing of nomination papers for Mayurbhanj district is from 4th April to 9th April.
