Bhubaneswar: June 11: BJP Sr Leader Bijoy Mohapatra once again criticised his own party for taking sides with the Central PSU in the port town issue. Mohapatra asked today, ‘Why did the Party act as middlemen and give clarifications instead of company activities? Also, the data given by BJP about employment status is very old.’ He alleged that, no employment has been given to youths of Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur district since the Prime Minister’s visit to Paradeep. Mohapatra raised this question again days after writing to Petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan about employment not being given to Odias in the IOCL refinery in Paradip, Reacting to this, BJP suggested him to refrain from creating illusion out of the issue.’ It is to be noted, Mohapatra has given a letter to Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan expressing serious concern over Odia youths not being given priority in jobs in Paradeep Refinery.
