Bhubaneswar, Nov 22: Today the Odisha unit of BJP criticized the ruling BJD’s plan of organizing human chains all over the state to celebrate the completion of 80 years of formation of Odisha and the Biju Patnaik birth centenary. It was accused by the BJP VP of state, Sameer Mohanty that the ruling BJD is just for its own political programme using the government officials.
Notably, the ruling BJD will be organizing human chain in all blocks, districts and in the capital city and all Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers, helpers and other officials who are coming directly under the control of State government have been asked to take part in the human chain. Letters have been shot up to all block officials in this regard. It’s stated that the human chain will be organised in all 314 blocks and district headquarters simultaneously. Odisha CM, Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate the human chain at Biju Patnaik Park. Especially, the human chain in Bhubaneswar will stretch from Dhauli to Nandankanan covering a range of 30 km. it will start from 9am tomorrow. Regarding this, a preparatory meeting for the event was held at Exhibition Ground here today.
