Bhubaneswar: Just hours after the announcement of first list of candidates for the assembly polls on Thursday night, resentment started over the ticket distribution to the BJP candidates for the upcoming assembly polls 2019. Ticket aspirant and their followers stormed the State BJP’s headquarters and ransacked the Party Office.

BJP Party Workers and followers also staged Dharana in front of the Party Office demanding Party Ticket to BJP leader Amiya Dash for Ekamra- Bhubaneswar Assembly constituency.

Also it is reported that, some of the miscreants damaged a vehicle of BJP Vice-President Samir Mohanty parked at his residence last night.

BJP has announced the name of Babu Singh as Party candidate for Ekamra- Bhubaneswar Assembly constituency, who has recently joined the saffron party.

BJP workers and followers of Amiya Dash were seen shouting slogans to give justice to Amiya Dash. They claimed, Amiya Dash was denied the ticket, who has been working for the Party for past 30 years, whereas Babu Singh who joined the Party just 15 days back, got the ticket.
