BJP woman activists protest against liquor shop in posh Nayapalli area in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar, May 13: Today the Nayapalli area here was gripped with panic and outburst as hundreds of women activists said to be that of the BJP Mahila Morcha protested on the roads against the functioning of a liquor shop near a government hospital and two educational institutions including a school and a temple. The outraged activists even burnt the posters of Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik. They shouted anti-governmental slogans and demonstrated at the IRC Village Square. The liquor shop is located ahead of the Sarkari Anchalika Chikitsalaya. The women activists blamed that the ruling party has broken the rules and regulations by allowing the shop to operate in such an area.
