Vaccination Certificate Not Required For Devotees In BMC Area
Devotees intend to visit religious institutions in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation area, do not need to produce double vaccination certificate or ID proof. BMC has issued an order, which stated devotees visiting religious institutions in the city will no longer need to produce double vaccination certificate or ID proof.
The decision has been taken considering the present Covid scenario and coverage of vaccination, the order stated.

BMC earlier restricted the devotees that, only doubly vaccinated individual should be allowed for darshan and conduct rituals and puja at the religious institutions.
The order also said, there will not be any conditions on priests or sevayats to produce double vaccination certificates.
But, the order asked the authorities of the religious institutions to ensure Covid appropriate behavior like social distancing, mask wearing and hand santisation within their premises.
