Border dispute results in group clash in Cuttack, Odisha

Cuttack, Oct 12: Border dispute between two localities has led to a group clash in Cuttack city on Wednesday. The group clash happened between Jholasahi and Pithapur residents.

As per the information, the incident took place during uninstalling of lights from a Durga Puja Pandal that resulted in exchange of bitter words between the two groups following which the two groups started throwing stones at each other.

In the clash, around 2 bikes, 2 cars and a pickup van got damaged.

After receiving the information, Purighat Police arrived at the spot and took the situation under control. To avoid any unwanted situation, police forces have also been deployed at the spot.
