BPUT officials deny reports of the university’s website being hacked

Bhubaneswar, Apr 25: Denying the media reports of BPUT official website been hacked, the BPUT authorities on Tuesday said that, the payment dispute between the website management company has caused the problem.

According to reports, earlier the website showed images containing name “IIS7” on the home page of the website. But the officials have denied of the hacking reports, and said that, it is nothing but a fallout of a dispute between the site manager.

Notably, earlier in January last year, the institution’s website was hacked by some unknown person, claiming himself as a ‘don’. A case was also registered by the university in this regard at the Khandagiri PS.
