Bhubaneswar: In the case of Rs 10 lakh alleged bribe in Odisha the latest development is that BK Singh, the General Manager of Bridge and Roof Company East Coast has appeared before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
As per reports, BK Singh, the General Manager of the Bridge and Roof Company appeared before the Central Bureau of Investigation. As per reports, the Central probing Agency is questioning him extensively.
As per reports, CBI is trying get the answer of why did he (the GM) write the letter. The Central Agency is also trying to ascertain whether he met IAS officer Bishnupada Sethi or not. Was there any deal in this regard? The CBI is trying to get answers of these questions.
Earlier, three employees of Bridge and Roof India Limited appeared before CBI. Reportedly, the Central Agency sought answers regarding any information on some important documents.
It is to be noted that the Bridge and Roof Company Rs 10 lakh bribe issue in Odisha involves a high-profile corruption case. A Group General Manager (GGM) of Bridge and Roof Co. (India) Limited, a central government PSU under the Ministry of Heavy Industries, was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for accepting a bribe of Rs 10 lakh.
The GGM, along with two private individuals – a director of a private company and another person – were taken into custody after the bribe exchange.
