Bolangir, Mar 16: In a tragic incident, in the name of a blind belief a man hacked his own sister to death for self satisfaction. Identified as Tripura Mallick of Dangaghata village, the deceased after committing the brutal crime did a Tandav dance on the village streets, claiming it as an act of human sacrifice for the village goddess.
After getting information, the Police team along with a forensic team reached the spot and investigated on the matter and have also arrested the accused and have seized the murder weapon (sword).
After committing the crime, the accused dance on the village streets singing “one head is down, 4 more to go”, said sources.
