Bhubaneswar: Board of Secondary Education announced date for Special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (SOTET) 2025.
As per the announcement of BSE, the Special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (SOTET) 2025 for both the categories (Paper-I & II) of candidates shall be conducted on July 20 (Sunday) in two sittings.
While the first sitting (Paper-I) will be conducted from 9 AM to 11.30 AM, the second sitting (Paper-II) will be held between 2 PM and 4.30 PM.
The admit card will be generated basing on the information submitted by the candidates through online and shall be made available on the website www.bseodisha.ac.in from July 12. In case the information at any time is found to be false/ fake, the candidature/result of the candidate shall be cancelled and he/she shall be liable for prosecution as per rule.
The Specially-abled candidates unable to read and write should report before the concerned Cente Superintendents before four days of commencement of examination with all original supporting documents for taking the help of a writer. The Centre Superintendents shall make arrangements for the writer preferably from a nearby institution in consultation with the concerned District Education Officer as per the guideline issued by the Board. Over 75,000 teachers are slated to appear the SOTET 2025.
It is to be noted here that BSE, Odisha had issued a notification on May 7 seeking registration from in-service teachers for the Special OTET exam. The online registration started from 8 AM of May 9 and continued till May 22. Later, it was extended till May 27.
