Bhubaneswar, Aug 2: Budhia Singh, left for New Delhi with his mother yesterday for the promotion of “Budhia Singh, Born to Run”, the Hindi film. This was informed by Soumendra Padhi the director of the movie to the media yesterday afternoon.
The film is a biopic based on the youngest marathon runner, Budhia Singh who ran 48 Marathons, one of which is the 65 km running record from Bhubaneswar to Puri in seven hours and two minutes at the age of five.
Mayur Mahendra Patole plays the role of Budhia in the film while Manoj Bajpayee plays the role of the coach cum mentor Biranchi Das. The film is set to release All-India on August 5.
