Bhubaneswar, Oct 26: In the bus mishap that happened on Tuesday where five passengers and a motorcyclist died while 34 passengers were injured at Tukuda in Angul district, the Transport Minister Ramesh Majhi has sought a report from the Regional Transport Officer (RTO) in this connection.
Majhi told the media persons that said after the report is available, apt action will be taken.
As several accidents have taken place on national highways, Makhi said that he will discuss about this issue with the national highway authorities. He further said that accidents often happen at the national highways as several bridges on the highways are narrow.
