Camp to set up by BMC to provide disability certificates to the differently abled

Bhubaneswar, Mar 24: To make the process easier, the State government is to hold a camp to provide disability certificates to differently abled persons in Bhubaneswar. During an initial meeting at the BMC office in Bhubaneswar, chaired by Mayor Ananta Narayana Jena, a team of officials took this decision yesterday. As of the meeting, to empower the disables in several sectors, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation will organise a camp, where it will provide the certificates to hundreds of disables.

 

As of decided, the applicants will first go through an online registration. Following to this, the doctors at the camp will do their instant medical test and provide the certificate.

Notably, the step is taken to provide Unique Disability Identity Card to the disables, launched by the Central Government. The project will enable the persons with disabilities to avail various schemes and benefits provided by the centre.
