Bhubaneswar: Jan 23: Some people having link with Cuttack-Choudwar BJD MLA Pravat Biswal appeared before CBI today and kept their side in connection with the multi-crore chit fund scam in Seashore Group of Companies. Persons grilled by CBI today said, they had given a loan of Rs.1 lakh each to Laxmi Bilasini Biswal, wife of Pravat Biswal in 2012. All of them are contractors and while talking with media persons after their appearance, they said, ‘CBI officials had asked them about our financial transactions with Laxmi Bilasini Biswal and we said them that, she had taken loan from us.’
