Bhubaneswar, Nov 13: Yesterday the Congress chief whip, Tara Prasad Bahinipati demanded the intervention of party high command, Sonia Gandhi and vice president, Rahul Gandhi into the party affairs in the State immediately so that all the intra-party disturbances should end. Congress MLA, Prafulla Majhi also supported Bahinipati’s decision. Calling upon the party leaders to obey Congress State in-charge, senior Congress leader Sarat Rout said that this intervention of the Central party leaders would bring about proper coordination among leaders in the state and thus there would be no scope of misunderstanding. He further pointed out that BK Hariprasad and Shubankar Sarkar must also intervene in all state party affairs and issues as well.

Notably, the Odisha Congress might get into trouble during the ensuing panchayat polls due the inside issues among leaders.
