Chargesheet filed against AQIS terrorist Abdur Rehman

Cuttack, Dec 29: A charge-sheet has been filed against the Al Qaida In Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) terrorist, Abdur Rehman by the Special Task Force of Odisha Crime Branch at the Salipur JMFC court.

He was accused of disloyal, conspiracy, unlawful activities, training, and financial terror activities among others by the agency, said sources.

Abdur a resident of Pachimkaccha in Cuttack ran a madrassa at Tangi area near Cuttack. He was reported of having alleged links with a man involved in a failed car bomb attack at the Glasgow International Airport in 2007, said sources.

Notably, The Delhi police from his residence at Jagatpur arrested Abdur, a 38-year-old man, on December 16, 2015 on the grounds of radicalizing youths for terror activities. He was also booked for some unlawful activities later.
