Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance have unearthed approximately Rs 1 crore cash from the Bhubaneswar based house of Chief Engineer Baikuntha Nath Sarangi and Rs 2.1 crore in sum total. He was found to be throwing cash out of his window as Vigilance raided his houses.
Approximately Rs 1 Crore was recovered from his Bhubaneswar flat at PDN Exotica in the raid on Chief Engineer.
Also from his residence at Angul, approximately Rs. 1.1 Crore unearthed. Counting by Counting machines is going on.
The total amount unearthed is Rs. 2.1 Crores approximately.
On seeing the Vigilance officers, Sarangi threw cash bundles of Rs.500 notes through the window of his Flat at Bhubaneswar. The same was recovered in presence of witnesses by the search team of Vigilance.

1. Double storied residential house at Karadagadia, Angul.
2. Flat No. C-102 in PDn Exonce in Dumduma, Bhubaneswar.
3. Flat at Siula, PS- Pipili, Dist- Puri.
4. House of his relative at Sikshyakapada, PS/Dist- Angul.
5. His Paternal house at Vill- Lokeipasi, Tahasil/Dist- Angul.
6. Double storied paternal building at Matiasahi, PS/Dist- Angul.
7. Office chamber located at Chief engineer, RD planning and Road, Bhubaneswar.
