CJI NV Ramana visits Shree Jagannath Temple
Chief Justice of India N.V. Ramana visited the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri on Saturday and paid obeisance to the sibling deities at the temple.
CJI Ramana was accompanied by Justice Vineet Saran. Both have spent around 45 minutes inside the Lord Jagannath Temple.
Chief Justice of India has come to Odisha on a two-day visit.
After offering his obeisance to Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra in the main temple, he moved around the Campus of the Temple and had darshan of Maa Mahalaxmi, Maa Bimala and other deities.
Chief Justice expressed his happiness seeing the silver-plated temple doors, sources said.
Justice Ramana had last visited the temple with his wife on January 25, 2020.
Soon after arriving at the Biju Patnaik International Airport on Friday, he went to Puri directly by road.
He was welcomed by Chief Justice of Orissa HC Dr. S. Muralidhar and other distinguished Judges of Orissa High Court on his arrival at Bhubaneswar Biju Patnaik International Airport.
From Puri Chief Justice of India moved for Cuttack where he inaugurated the new building of the Odisha State Legal Service Authority (OSLSA).
