CK Nayudu Trophy: Ranjit ton lifts Odisha to 228 for 5

CUTTACK, OCT 24: Riding on the century by vice-captain Ranjit Singh and a half-century by Gourav Mahapatra, Odisha made 228 for five on the opening day of their four-day Plate Group B match of the Col C K Nayudu Trophy (U-23) Tournament at Diesel Mechanical Works Cricket Ground in Patiala today.
Put into bat, Odisha got off to a vulnerable start, losing opening batsman Shantanu Mishra for four. But Ranjit and Gourav steadied the innings, stitching together 114 runs for the second wicket stand. Priyatosh Paramanik and Kameswar Barik were batting on 20 and 16 respectively at the draw of stumps today.
