Keonjhar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday announced a DPR of Rs 215 crore for the development of the famous Maa Tarini Temple located in Ghatagan of Keonjhar district. The CM announced this during his visit to the famous temple today in Keonjhar district for darshan of the Goddess today on the oaccassion of the famous Chaiti parva.
Today is the Odia New Year. Bishuba Sankranti and Hanuman Jayanti marks the beginning of the Odia New Year. On this occasion Chief Minister today went to Keonjhar for darshan of Maa Tarini when he announced.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said that the work on this project will commence soon.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi went on a day-long visit to Keonjhar today. Pana Sankranti i.e. today is the main day of the famous Chaiti Parva of Ghatgan’s Maa Tarini. The 89th Chaiti Parva is being celebrated at the Peetha of Goddess Maa Tarini, the presiding deity of Keonjhar district.
Today, the Mother is giving darshan in a golden attire. There is a huge crowd of devotees from morning. Devotees are coming in long queues to have darshan of the Mother.
