Bhubaneswar: June 27: Commissionerate Police arrested two students of private engineering college in Bhubaneswar for allegedly planning to kill their classmate with guns. The Infocity police also seized three live bullets from their possession. The gun is yet to be traced by the police.
The accused have been identified as Aryan Singh alias Molu, a native of Raipur in Chhattisgarh and Utsav Singh alias Babu of Bihar.
Sources said, the college authorities had suspended the two recently following some serious allegations leveled against them.
Tension erupted when the accused students threatened the members of the rival group by showing gun on the roof of an apartment.
On getting information, Police rushed to the spot and conducted raid. The cops also registered a case under Section-506 of the IPC and 25 and 27 of Arms Act in this connection. Police started interrogation into the matter.
