Compulsory retirement to three Odisha Govt officers for alleged involvement in corruption

Bhubaneswar: October 10: Odisha Government has ordered compulsory retirement to three government officers. As per the order, Executive Engineer in Rural Works Department Prana Krushna Prasad, Deputy Executive Engineer also in Works Department Umesh Chandra Tripathy and Athagarh Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Sudhanshu Sekhar Mishra, have been asked to go on compulsory retirement for alleged corruption charges.

Executive Engineer in Rural Works Department Prana Krushna Prasad was caught twice by Vigilance Police Stations while taking bribe.

Deputy Executive Engineer also in Works Department Umesh Chandra Tripathy was involved in four vigilance cases under Koraput Vigilance Police Station.

Mishra was booked by the State Vigilance in a disproportionate assets (DA) case for acquiring assets in his name and in the name of his family members, to the tune of more than Rs 5.5 crores.

Earlier this month, Odisha Government had given compulsory retirement to four corrupt officials.
