Hyderabad, Oct 19: Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has hinted that leaders above the age of 60 may have to retire from electoral politics and only play an advisory role after Rahul Gandhi takes the reign of the party in his hand.
Rahul is likely to take over the charge as Congress President by March next year or earlier.
Ramesh said that the leaders in 70-plus category should gracefully exit to make the transition smooth.
