Bhubaneswar: May 17: Addressing a Press Conference here at State Capital today, the leader of Opposition in Odisha Assembly Narasingha Mishra today criticised Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and his government for not giving reply to their question as demanded by the Congress in the Assembly.

He said, ‘Chief Minister did not give any statement on the floor of the house as demanded by Opposition Parties. He even did not participate in discussion. But, he went on giving statement outside the house after the assembly adjourned sine die. Let the people decide, how far it is justified’. He further added, ‘Through an adjournment motion, we wanted to discuss regarding refund of money to the duped investors, but we are not allowed to discuss this’.

Mishra said, ‘Congress sought a reply in the Assembly from the chief minister regarding the deposit of Rs 8 crore in the BJD bank account. But, there was no reply from chief minister in the house, rather  the chief minister asked his party leaders to give a reply on his behalf and they used derogatory words against the Opposition leader’.
