Congress Members From Odisha Hurl Eggs At Union Minister Ajay Mishra’s Vehicle
Chhatra Congress members from Odisha on Sunday hurled eggs at Union Minister of State (MoS) for Home Ajay Misra Teni’s carcade near Bhubaneswar Airport over his son’s alleged involvement in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case.
According to sources, the Union Minister has come to Odisha to attend a programme and When he was on the way to his Programme, the members of the students’ wing hurled eggs and threw black ink at his vehicle.
Also, Congress activists waved black flags.
Later, police detained some members of the Chhatra Congress to prevent any untoward situation.
Congress Members demanded dismissal of Mishra from the Union Cabinet and condemned the violence at Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh.
Ajay Mishra’s son Ashish was earlier arrested in connection with the death of farmers at Lakhimpur Kheri.
